We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives across construction sites. In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture of safety excellence by developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and local regulations to ensure a safe construction environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards related to risk management, occupational health, and compliance management.
  • Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and construction management processes.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all incidents.
  • Monitor adherence to construction management software systems that track safety metrics, inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Stay current with evolving industry regulations and best practices in construction site safety to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to implement risk management strategies that minimize hazards related to construction activities.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and enforce its mandatory use on all sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction site safety management or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC standards, workers' compensation procedures, and EHS protocols.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management techniques specific to large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction management software tools used for tracking safety metrics and compliance documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with occupational health initiatives aimed at promoting worker well-being on active sites.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting training sessions, safety meetings, and reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
