Job Description

SUMMARY:

This position will perform necessary repairs, cleaning, sanitizing, protecting and project maintenance on systems, including plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, cutting, and welding, as directed by the supervisor. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must establish and maintain effective and professional interaction with other departments and peers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following : Other duties may be assigned.

• Work closely with Sanitation team supervisors and assist as needed when directed by sanitation supervision team.
• Assist with LOTO of machinery in designated zones.
• Essential training on how to properly handle blades along with the sanitizing of them.
• Hand wash, clean and sanitize then cover up equipment as needed per Management request.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma with course work in skilled crafts preferred, or three (3) years of experience using mechanical or other related skills, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent in English, must be able to read, write and understand. Bi-lingual is a positive and welcomed.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiple and divide).
