This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), Friday through Sunday. Every other weekend and holidays as needed. No call required, but floating may be necessary.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this position will focus on providing high-quality care to patients with nephrology-related conditions, including end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and other kidney disorders. The RN will collaborate with nephrology medical providers and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide nursing care to patients with renal disorders in an inpatient setting.
\n
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
\n
• Monitor patients' conditions, vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
\n
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
\n
• Experience in inpatient renal care and telehealth is necessary.
\n
• Ability to manage a patient load of 4-5 patients.
\n
